Pestiféré – Pariah

Kathy, Benjamin et Brianne sont de retour à la maison pour un début de confinement qui s’annonce long. Les remontées mécaniques à SilverStar ont fermé le jour de leur arrivée mais pas les pistes de ski de fond et raquette. Ils ont donc profité du grand air dans une station de ski désertée.

Kathy, Benjamin and Brianne are back home for a confinement that will likely be long. The ski lifts at SilverStar closed on the day of their arrival, but the cross-country and snowshoe trails were open. They therefore took advantage of the great outdoors at a deserted ski resort.

Avec COVID-19, je suis passé en quelques jours d’un statut de patient chouchouté à un pestiféré susceptible de transmettre le virus au personnel soignant.  Il n’y a plus qu’à trouver de l’humanité dans la machine… J’imagine le faisceau gamma comme un rayon de lumière apportant chaleur et guérison. J’entame ma 5ème semaine un peu plus fatigué vraisemblablement du fait de l’effet cumulatif des radiations mais toujours avec le moral au beau fixe. Portez-vous bien !

With COVID-19, I went in a few days from being a pampered patient to a plague victim that can possibly transmit the virus to healthcare staff. There is nothing left but to find humanity in the machine … I imagine the gamma beam as a ray of light bringing warmth and healing. I am starting my 5th week a little more tired probably because of the cumulative effect of radiation but my morale is still good. Take care of yourself !
